Hi5 Craft Beer
Hi5 Craft Beer is a conceptual packaging and branding project for a brewing company aiming to provide unique and high-quality craft beer flavors to brew-lovers. I focused on the can design, which features a stand-out display typeface and a skull motif targeted at an alternative, young-adult audience.

Inspiration
Beer can labels are some of the most creative and unconstrained things to design. I knew I wanted Hi5’s labels to be illustrative and punchy, so I started my design process with market research and design inspiration. My primary point of reference for both ingenuity and technical specs were DogFish Head Brewery.
Label Design
The final Hi5 Brewery can designs feature a skull illustration and a unique, wavy display typeface. Each drink flavor has it's own label using the same overall layout, but a unique color palette and name which reflect the overall vibe and feel of the flavor.
The primary design goal is to grab the consumer's attention, and then visually communicate the flavor before they even read the text.
Rendered Product Scenes
I designed and rendered a unique scene for each can design, visually communicating the feeling of the flavor, and where it will "transport" the consumer.
All scenes were made using Blender.
